Resources!

Here are some of my favorite books that'll help you further on your journey to financial freedom and literacy! These books inspired me and taught me a new perspective. I highly recommend checking out your local library, to see if they have these titles on loan (libraries also have eBook apps now too)!

This is my book review of Nice Girls Don't Get Rich by Lois P. Frankel! (Everything on this website is my own opinion, this is not sponsored).

I genuinely enjoyed this book as one of the first books I read about finance–it's a FABULOUS introduction to finance for women. It describes the pitfalls women fall into with their money due to social constructs– we can be afraid to talk about money, afraid to be seen as greedy by wanting more, and afraid we don't know enough to become financially literate. While these fears are valid, you can't let them define your relationship with money. It's up to us to take control of our financial futures, and to help our friends and family do the same.

This book delves into finance specifically relating to women. I found the book incredibly insightful, as it showed me all of the money mistakes I was already making. If you've ever said the words "Girl Math" to describe your relationship with money, and frivolous purchases, it'd be great to give this book a go. It'll make finances a lot less daunting, and help you figure out what you don't know, so that you can fill those gaps in your knowledge.

You can do it!
